"Be the change you want to see in the world" - Mahatma Gandhi

We have all heard this famous saying, and yet Mahatma Gandhi never actually said this statement. What he said was:

“We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.” – Mahatma Gandhi

While the overall message is the same, the original quote drives a stronger message that I wish to impose upon you: "We need not wait to see what others do". If my campaign is successful and I am voted into office come the November Elections, it will not be due to those who waited for my campaign to pick up traction or gain popularity and attention until they decided that my campaign was worth supporting, it will be due to those supporters who did not wait for me to become "popular", they saw a candidate who is dedicated to becoming the change they want to see in this county and those supporters made the decision then and there to get involved and help that candidate succeed. 

No matter when or how you get involved, don't wait for it to become the "cool" or "popular" thing to do, make a decision and "Be the change you want to see in the world"!

• Spread the Word - Follow our social media accounts and share our content to spread the word of this campaign and how we will Limit The Power of our elected government!
